Game Objective
In Rising Sun: Dynasty Invasion, players take on the roles of powerful clans competing for control of feudal Japan. The goal is to accumulate victory points (VPs) through strategy, alliances, and battles. The game ends after three seasons (Spring, Summer, and Autumn), and the player with the most VPs at the end is declared the winner.
Setup
To set up the game, follow these steps:
- Add the Boat Set to the basic Season cards as instructed on page 9 of the Rising Sun rulebook.
- If playing with the Dynasty Clans (Sun and Moon), take the 7 Gods of Fortune cards and distribute them according to the season: 3 in Spring, 2 in Summer, and 2 in Autumn.
- Prepare the board, miniatures, cards, and tokens according to the base game rules. No adjustments are needed to play with up to 6 players.

Tips for Winning
- If playing as the Moon Clan, leverage their superior strength in battles, but remember the limit of miniatures per province and shrine.
- With the Sun Clan, focus on winning tied disputes to gain extra Coins and VPs.
