About the game
What you do in a play session
Hunting Adventures is a bite‑size expansion that spices up the Hunting phase of Robinson Crusoe: Adventures on the Cursed Island. The core goal remains survival, but now hunting becomes even more unpredictable. Before you start, shuffle the 14 "Hunting Adventures" cards into the Beast deck. During play those cards are treated like any other Beast cards – they are drawn, shuffled and used to build the Hunting deck. If a Hunting card tells you to draw from the Hunting deck and it’s empty, simply draw from the Beast deck instead; keep drawing until you hit a Beast card, ignoring any remaining Hunting Adventures cards, then reshuffle the Beast deck. The box contains a short rule sheet and the 14 adventure cards. Mechanically the expansion interacts with many of Robinson Crusoe’s core systems: action queue, deck/bag/pool building, dice rolling, worker placement and variable player powers. Each card introduces new situations – storms, fiercer beasts or scarce resources – forcing the team to adapt its strategy each turn. The extra component is lightweight, takes little table space and can be added or removed without changing the base game. For groups that already love the tension of the original hunting phase, Hunting Adventures adds variety and replayability without steepening the learning curve. Note that the expansion is only in English, so a translated spreadsheet or cards are needed for Portuguese‑speaking players. In short, it’s a compact supplement that raises the unpredictability of hunting expeditions while preserving the cooperative, challenging spirit of the base game.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers before you buy
How many players can use the expansion?
It works for 1 to 4 players, just like the base game.
How much extra time does the expansion add?
Usually between 5 and 15 minutes, depending on the cards drawn and the extra challenges they create.
Do I need the base game to play Hunting Adventures?
Yes, the expansion only adds content to Robinson Crusoe: Adventures on the Cursed Island.
Are the cards available in Portuguese?
No, the official components are in English. You’ll need a translated spreadsheet or to translate the cards yourself.
Does the expansion change the game’s difficulty?
It can make the hunting phase swing harder or easier based on the drawn cards, but the overall difficulty stays balanced.
Can I play solo with the expansion?
Absolutely; the solo rules from the base game still apply, with the new cards simply shuffled into the Beast deck.
Will it take up a lot of table space?
Not at all – just 14 cards and a small rule sheet, so it’s a minimal footprint.
