About the game
Get ready to set sail for India! In Sail to India, you take on the role of a Portuguese noble in the 15th century, a time when the Mediterranean seas were complicated and the search for new trade routes was essential. With more modern ships and improved compasses, the courage of Portuguese explorers drove maritime expansion. Your goal? To support these intrepid sailors in discovering a path to India and become the most renowned explorer of all time.

The game revolves around lean resource management, where every decision counts. You have only two action points to use each turn, forcing careful planning. Every move of your main pawn affects everything: your money, your score, your ship, and even the buildings you construct. With twelve different action types, six kinds of products to trade, and three buildings to develop, strategic pawn movement is the key to success. You'll need to optimize each action to accumulate wealth and glory, outperforming your rivals in the race to India. It's a race against time and other players, where efficiency and long-term vision are rewarded. Keep in mind that card translation might be necessary for a smoother experience, but the core mechanics are quite straightforward.

Sail to India offers an engaging thematic experience, transporting players to the Age of Discovery with a touch of economic strategy and exploration. It's a great choice for those who enjoy games with impactful decisions and a reasonable playtime.
