The novelties don't stop there: a new "Fisherman" hex can hook you! When landing on it, a die roll decides if you get stuck. If hooked, you need to spend two 'Swim' cards to free yourself, without being able to move that turn. Bears, on the other hand, don't care about fishermen and can move freely. The Grizzly Bear card replaces the fatigue mechanic with a more direct one: discard two random cards from your hand. This expansion adds an extra layer of strategy and unpredictability, keeping the salmon's survival race exciting and competitive.
