Segnum is a card game that lets players rewrite their own destiny. Drawing inspiration from Daifugō, the game introduces segment chips that allow players to alter the numeric values of cards in hand, turning a weak 1 into a powerful 7 or trimming a 9 down to a 3. Each turn offers three options: play cards, pass to earn segments, or spend segments to reshape cards and form valid sets. But beware! Hoarding unused segments penalizes you at the end, while efficient use unlocks bonus points. The real fun comes from planning when to pass, when to remodel your hand, and when to strike, adding a layer of tactical depth that rewards foresight and flexibility. The pace is quick, with games lasting 15 to 30 minutes, perfect for those who enjoy rapid decisions and a touch of strategic math.
