About the game
What you do in a play session
Sentinels of the Multiverse: Mad Bomber Blade – the villain promo card that brings Baron Blade back to the scene, but without his usual brute force. Instead of launching his destructive weapons, he plants bombs across Megalopolis and leaves video clues for the Freedom Five to disarm the threat. As the card is part of an expansion, you need the Baron Blade deck already installed in the base game to use it in your turn. The baron brings no gadgets or minions he usually employs, so the heroes must rely more on their own cunning and the hand‑management and variable‑player‑powers mechanics. Each player receives a set of cards representing the villain’s strategy, and you must use your own card‑handling ability to stop the city from blowing up. The game keeps the typical cooperative vibe of Sentinels, where everyone works together to prevent disaster. The card adds extra tension, as each round new bombs are revealed and time runs against the heroes. If you already own the base game and want an extra challenge, this promo is perfect. It functions like a mini‑expansion, adding a layer of narrative and tactics without changing the core structure of the game. Prepare your team, review the video cards, and be ready to use your hero power before time runs out!

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers before you buy
How many players can use the card?
It works with the same player range as the base game, 2 to 5 players.
How long does a game with the card take?
The playtime stays around 60 minutes, just like the base game.
Do I need any extra components besides the Baron Blade deck?
No, just have the Baron Blade deck installed; the promo card itself brings no additional pieces.
Does the card change the final scoring?
No, it only adds a bomb‑disarming mechanic; scoring follows the base game rules.
Can I use the card in casual play?
Yes, but it raises the challenge, so it’s best for players who already master the base game.
How does the card interact with other expansions?
It integrates normally; other expansion rules remain unchanged, it just adds the bomb scenario.
