About the game
What you do in a play session
Get ready to dive into one of the most hostile and corrosive settings imaginable: the Blasted Wastes! This expansion for Shadows of Brimstone throws you onto a desert planet, used as an intergalactic prison for the worst criminals. Forget any hope of escape; survival here is a daily battle against creatures that crawl beneath the sand, a scorching sun that burns the skin, pools of sulfuric acid, and toxic Dark Stone dust storms. The few who endure form brutal warbands to scavenge the dunes for resources and buried alien treasures.
Blasted Wastes introduces a complete new alien world, packed with terrors, wasteland scavengers, and deadly hazards. You'll get a full set of 18 brand-new map tiles to construct the Blasted Wastes setting (and the back features another world, The Canyons, Earth-based!). All the cards you need for both these worlds are included, along with 4 deadly new enemy types: 6 Wasteland Scavengers, 3 Sand Crabs, 3 Wasteland Warlords/Heavies, and 6 Tribal Ghost Warriors. To top it off, there's a new alien Barter Town where heroes can trade goods. It's more content to expand your adventures, challenges, and horrors in Shadows of Brimstone!
