About the game
What you do in a play session
Hey there, board game adventurers! If you've already plunged into the dark and perilous universe of Shadows of Brimstone, you know that every bit of gear counts. And these four promo cards are exactly that: a direct upgrade for your adventure!
Just imagine: you're out there in the middle of nowhere, fleeing bizarre creatures and dealing with the typical problems of the Wild West, but with a supernatural twist. Then, BAM! You pull out an Outlaw Pistol, which not only gives you extra morale in a shootout but is also a starting gear card for the Outlaw hero class. Or maybe you find the Bandana, which besides giving you that respected look, also serves as a starting item for the same class and appears with different art in the Dead Man's Bounty supplement. It doesn't stop there! There's Saxton's Fancy Tonic, a potion that can save you in a critical moment, and the Tomb Chest, a chest that, although appearing as a purchasable item in town in other versions, here gains special status as a Gear card. These promos were distributed with direct purchases from Flying Frog, including Kickstarter campaigns and events. They are small bonuses that add extra flavor to the experience, whether exploring a new portal or in an epic confrontation. If you dig the vibe of Shadows of Brimstone, these cards are a find to give your game a boost and make your heroes even more prepared (or at least more stylish!) to face the lurking shadows in Brimstone.

Quick answers before you buy
What exactly comes in these promo cards?
This pack contains 4 promotional gear cards: Outlaw Pistol, Bandana, Saxton's Fancy Tonic, and Tomb Chest. They add new items and options to your Shadows of Brimstone game.
How many players can use these items?
Shadows of Brimstone is for 1 to 4 players. These items can be used by any of the players, depending on the rules and how they are obtained in the game.

No, they are promotional items and add extra flavor. The base game works perfectly without them. They are more for those who like to have everything and increase variety.
Where can I get these cards?
Originally, they were distributed with direct purchases from Flying Frog, including Kickstarter campaigns and events. Getting them now might be more difficult, perhaps on secondary markets or future promotions.
Do they change the game experience much?
They add new gear options and can serve as starting items for certain classes, which can provide a slight variation in initial strategies, but they do not drastically alter the core game experience.
What's the average playtime with these extras?
Shadows of Brimstone playtime varies quite a bit, but it generally falls between 60 to 120 minutes per scenario. These cards do not significantly affect this playtime.
