About the game
What you do in a play session
Shadows of Brimstone: Scourge Rats is an enemy pack that brings 12 mutated rat miniatures and an XL Rat Nest to your base game. These rats aren’t the cute ones you find in Brimstone mines; they’ve grown grotesque, with sharp teeth, spines, and even extra tails, thanks to the Black Stone’s radiation. When activated, the nest generates rats automatically, creating a real plague that players must contain. The pack works with the existing base game rules, so you just drop the pieces in and follow the action cards that come with it. The setting becomes even more tense, as these rats can appear anywhere on the modular board, forcing players to carefully plan their routes. The grid movement and dice‑rolling mechanics already present in the base game integrate seamlessly with the new content, keeping the fast, cooperative pace fans love. If you enjoy survival horror challenges in a hostile environment, this pack is a perfect upgrade that amps up the adrenaline without changing the game’s core. Just remember the expansion doesn’t come with a new language, so you may need a translation of the cards if you’re playing in Portuguese. In short, it’s the perfect addition for anyone wanting more terror and more rats to squash!
