Prepare for an intergalactic war in Siege of the Citadel, a reboot that brings back the action of the Mutant Chronicles universe! Here, you and your friends take on the role of one of five mega-corporations – Imperial, Cybertronic, Mishima, Capitol, or Bauhaus – in a desperate fight to prevent the sinister Dark Legion, led by one of its terrifying commanders, from dominating the solar system. Each player controls a duo of Doomtroopers, each with unique abilities that complement their corporation's strength. The Citadel, a constantly changing modular labyrinth, will be the stage for epic missions and terrifying events. As they advance, heroes gain promotion points, unlocking more powerful weaponry and devastating abilities. But beware! Secret missions can arise, pitting players against each other and creating delightful chaos. The great differentiator is that, each round, one player takes control of the Dark Legion, orchestrating attacks, summoning reinforcements, and unleashing horrifying creatures against their former allies. This rotating dynamic ensures everyone experiences the adrenaline of both sides of the conflict. With new campaigns based on significant events from the Mutant Chronicles universe and brand-new creatures, Siege of the Citadel offers an engaging narrative experience full of twists. It's a cooperative game with a touch of intrigue, where collaboration is key, but betrayal might be lurking. The 2nd Edition refines the original gameplay, promising hours of strategic fun and intense combat.
