About the game

What you do in a play session

If you thought collecting skulls in Skulls of Sedlec was already intense, wait until you meet the Champions! This expansion injects fresh-blooded energy into the game by introducing six new Champion cards. These-not-so-dead leaders have very specific tastes: they want to be surrounded by their loyal followers. Each Champion is tied to one of the-already existing skull types from the base game, meaning you'll be looking to build connected chains and clusters of specific-colored skulls to satisfy their demands and rack up massive points.

Implementation is a breeze—just shuffle these cards into your deck and you're ready to go. Beyond the new scoring-style-driven gameplay, this expansion solves a major itch for many players by enabling a 4-player game mode. It also plays beautifully with the Monstrance solo expansion, making it a versatile addition to your collection. It’s a lightweight-yet-deep upgrade that rewards clever spatial planning and pattern recognition. Perfect for players who want a bit more tactical depth without adding a mountain of rules to learn!
