About the game
What you do in a play session
Picture the coldest race track your imagination can conjure: Snow Tails puts you in the shoes of a husky sled driver, with a board that reshapes itself each game thanks to modular track pieces. Each player starts with two 3‑point dogs and a 3‑point brake, forming the base for your racing strategy. The heart of the game lies in hand management: a shared deck of 1‑5 cards you draw and play into three slots—two dogs and the brake. You can play one to three cards of the same value in each slot, which determines speed and direction. If the dog values match, you gain a position bonus that can be game‑changing. Lateral movement is calculated by the difference between the two dogs, so a stronger dog can pull the sled to a more favorable side, but beware: tight curves and speed‑restricted track sections can inflict damage. Each damage is represented by cards that occupy space in your hand, and when you run out of room, the sled is out of the race. Player elimination adds extra tension: those who can’t keep up or rack up too much damage are knocked out before the finish. Snow Tails blends hand‑management, tactical positioning, and a touch of luck for a fast, unpredictable racing experience that appeals to winter sports lovers and card‑mechanics fans alike.
