About the game

What you do in a play session

Get ready for a chaotic space journey with Star Munchkin! If you enjoy the irreverent and humorous vibe of the original Munchkin but want a sci-fi twist, this is your game. Here, Munchkins trade dungeons for galaxies, becoming mutants, androids, and even space felines. The mission? Accumulate levels and treasures while facing bizarre creatures like "Fanged Fuzzballs" and "Brain In A Jar," and wielding an arsenal that includes "Lasers" and "Nova Grenades."

The basic rules are the same as the classic: each player starts at level 1, and the goal is to reach level 10 first. You'll "kick down the door" (draw a monster card) each turn, which usually means facing a monster. To win, you need sufficient level and equipment, or try your luck by running away. And don't be fooled, your friends can help you... or worse, they can add more monsters to the fight to slow you down! It's a game that shines in player interaction and the mess players create for each other, with that dose of luck from dice rolls and the fun guaranteed by John Kovalic's iconic art. Furthermore, Star Munchkin can be combined with other games in the Munchkin line, further expanding the possibilities for intergalactic chaos.
