About the game
What you do in a play session
Star Squadron: Eisenkiesel vs Vermarine is a head-to-head space combat game where you command highly customizable squadrons of pilots and starfighters. The action is fast-paced and intense: players secretly choose their ships' maneuvers simultaneously and, upon revealing, discover who prevailed on the battlefield. The combat mechanics are unique, combining range, attack angle, pilot accuracy, and firepower into dice rolls that can involve up to twelve dice per attack! But beware, as your enemies can evade, use energy shields, or rely on reinforced armor. Objectives range from controlling resource-rich terrain hexes to protecting VIPs (Very Important Pilots) or simply eliminating the opponent. Every decision is crucial: do you prioritize weapons, shields, or boosters? The game offers a variety of plug-and-play options, such as treacherous terrain, special pilot abilities, exotic weapons, and different ship classes. Additionally, the Star Squadron universe is rich and original, far from sci-fi clichés. This box contains two complete factions (Eisenkiesel and Vermarine), six detailed ship miniatures, sturdy boards for cards and energy tracking, unique art and lore, 12 dice, and various mission scenarios. It can be combined with other boxes to expand the game for more players and factions.
