About the game
Stress Botics: Odyssey is here to supercharge your favorite eurogame experience, adding strategic layers across five crucial axes, all while maintaining the core rules you already master. Get ready for a deeper dive into the main room, which now features an alternate board with a detailed zoom. This means your positioning will be even more critical for battling Cylindroids and defending Alpha Bot. If it doesn't reach the surface, resource delivery to ships will become a logistical nightmare! Speaking of Cylindroids, prepare for the Elites! After eliminating a wave of enemies, one of these powerful bosses, with its own complex AI, will appear to challenge Alpha Bot. But the big twist is that your Beta Bots can now enter Alpha Bot! With a new action, you control its AI, speeding up movements, crushing enemies, avoiding obstacles, repairing shields, and much more. Just be careful: if Alpha Bot takes damage while you're in control, it activates a temperamental AI, potentially returning to already explored areas or indiscriminately attacking anyone nearby! For the lone wolves, the solo mode has been boosted with the addition of Delta Bot, a small companion who helps you with objectives. But beware, it also has its own management board, and if it gets too stressed, it might explode, making your solo life much harder. And to top it all off, Odyssey brings a ton of extra content, including 'boxed items,' which can be equipped on the fly to add a touch of improvisation to combat and overall strategy. Furthermore, modular boards expand details of various mechanics and offer unique characteristics for different player counts.
