About the game

What you do in a play session

Stronghold: Undead is an asymmetric strategy game for two players, where one takes the role of the Necromancer, leading an undead army against the Defender, who guards a powerful magical artifact within a stronghold. The Necromancer is losing his powers and has only eight turns to storm the castle and reclaim his strength — if he fails, his army will turn to dust. The Defender, on the other hand, must hold off hordes of zombies and dark creatures using strategy and limited resources. With mechanics like action points, area influence, and variable player powers, each match is an intense battle full of critical decisions. The second edition introduced a new board, more siege paths, and more options for both sides, making the game more balanced and packed with tactical possibilities. Get ready for a tense and immersive experience where every move could decide the outcome of the battle.
