About the game
What you do in a play session
If you're a fan of card-slinging and dungeon crawling in the HeroQuest universe, get ready for another adventure! SundayQuest Adventures Volume 8 brings 12 new quests that were originally released exclusively on the 'Ye Olde Inn' Facebook group. This expansion continues the saga right after the events of 'Wizards of Morcar', and to enjoy it fully, it's best to have already completed Kellar's Keep, Return of the Witch Lord, Against the Ogre Horde, and Wizards of Morcar itself. Also, depending on your version, some quests might incorporate elements from 'The Mage in the Mirror' and 'The Frozen Horror'.
The key here is that this expansion was designed to fit seamlessly with the original 1980s UK release of HeroQuest, but it's made to be compatible with both the older versions (European and American from 1989-1991) and the more recent 2021 re-release. In other words, no matter which HeroQuest you have stashed away, these creators have thought of everything so you can relive the magic and dangers you know and love, with a nostalgic touch and brand-new challenges. It's a chance to extend the lifespan of your favorite game with content made by those who understand and cherish the classic.
