About the game
What you do in a play session
Super Fantasy Brawl: Radiant Authority arrives as the first expansion for Super Fantasy Brawl, adding three brand‑new Champions that can reshape any match. King Alistair, the Scaled Tyrant, is a tank who soaks up huge amounts of damage and dishes out brutal hits while providing modest board‑side assistance. Khalize, the Will of the Heavens, bathes the arena in radiant power, granting her allies a sizable strength boost and creating protective zones that can swing the battle in her team’s favor. Finally, Sir Tentaclot, the Paladin of Madness, is a corrupted knight who spreads poison and intimidates opponents, making each of his attacks especially threatening.
The expansion preserves the core mechanics that made the base game shine: area majority/influence control, hex‑grid movement, and hand management of command cards. Each new Champion comes with a set of variable powers, letting players tweak their tactics each play‑through. The team‑based mode remains, so you can field duos of 2‑4 players, mixing the fresh characters with existing ones for unexpected synergies.
At 30‑40 minutes and a light weight of 2/5, Radiant Authority is quick to learn yet deep enough for fans of positioning and zone control. Components include detailed miniatures of the three heroes, command cards, radiant‑energy tokens, and a small extra map. If you already enjoy the tactical combat of Super Fantasy Brawl, this expansion adds role variety and boosts replayability without overcomplicating the rules.
