About the game
What you do in a play session
Hey Tainted Grail crew! Get ready to upgrade your basecamp with the Tainted Grail: Modular Campsite, a sweet addition that lets you build a personalized resting spot, compatible with both Fall of Avalon and Kings of Ruin. Think of it as your home away from home, evolving as you do!
It starts simple: just a campfire with some sharpened stakes to ward off immediate dangers. In Kings of Ruin, this basic setup helps regenerate your Terror during the night. With an Action, you can boost it to Stage 2. This is where things get cozy: think a bubbling stew pot, provisions, healing herbs, and even musical instruments. On top of Terror regeneration, Stage 2 also enhances Health regeneration in Kings of Ruin.
One more Action takes you to Stage 3, offering actual shelter secured by runes and wyrdcandles. This final stage is a lifesaver against Wyrdness in Kings of Ruin, giving you that extra edge for deeper dives into the wyrd-covered map or helping you survive if the waystones go dark. Your campsite stays put until you decide to pack up, so choose its location wisely! Just remember, an unattended camp can be destroyed or looted by roaming guardians. Invest smart!
