What's up, folks! If you enjoyed the classic Take it Easy!, get ready for an even more pumped-up and challenging version: Take It to the Limit! Here, the hexagonal tile-laying fun reaches a new level of complexity and strategy. Forget the smaller boards, because this game features much larger playing areas, with 64 tiles in each set, each boasting four different colors in three directions. These tiles are split between 'moon' and 'sun' types, adding an extra layer of planning.
But it doesn't stop there! The game introduces gold and silver bonus tiles that can give your score a significant boost if you manage to complete lines through them in all three directions. And the best part is that the game boards are double-sided, offering two distinct experiences: the 'Nexus' board, denser and more strategic (with games lasting around 45 minutes), where all 64 tiles are used and you can optimize your score with bonuses and the intertwining of 'sunrays' and 'moonbeams'. If things get tough, there's even a 'Scrap Yard' to discard unwanted tiles, but beware: a messy scrapyard can lead to penalty points! The 'Orchid' board, on the other hand, is faster and more elegant (around 25 minutes), where you choose to play with only 'sun' or 'moon' tiles. Special orchid symbols allow you to set aside unwanted tiles and even reposition them at the end to try for that extra score.
