About the game

What you do in a play session

Embark on an epic journey in Talisman: The Magical Quest Game! In this fantasy classic, you and your friends take on the roles of unique heroes, each with their own starting stats for life, strength, and craft. The mission is clear: traverse a fantastical world, gathering equipment, allies, and powerful relics to ultimately claim the Crown of Command. The path is treacherous, filled with fantastic creatures, traps, and, of course, other players who won't make your life easy. Each turn, a die dictates your movement, and what happens on each board space can range from an encounter with a monster to an opportunity to improve your character. You can fight creatures to earn rewards or even challenge other adventurers who cross your path, using your strength or craft to come out on top. As you advance through the outer, middle, and inner worlds, the challenges increase, but so do the rewards. Finding legendary artifacts, like talismans, is crucial to get a chance to enter the inner world and reach the Portal of Power. Whoever first obtains the Crown of Command can use its power to eliminate opponents, but beware: the others must race to stop them before they reign supreme! With 14 distinct characters, each with different starting abilities and attributes, and a myriad of encounter cards, Talisman offers an adventure experience that rewards exploration and overcoming challenges.
