About the game
What you do in a play session
Get ready for Tarantel Tango, a frenetic game where speed and imitation are the key to victory! Forget calmness; here, time is short and noise is guaranteed. Each player receives a deck of cards featuring cute animals (and some treacherous spiders!) and the goal is to get rid of them as quickly as possible. Cards are played in a circle, clockwise, around a central tarantula tile. But beware: before playing your card, you might have to imitate the animal from the previous card, depending on whether there are spiders on it. One spider? Imitate once. Two? Twice! Nothing? Stay silent. And if the previous card has two animals, your card goes to the next available spot, skipping one! All this in a maximum of 2 seconds! And when the dreaded tarantula appears, everyone slaps their hand on the table to scare it away. Made a mistake? Too slow? Tough luck: you take all the cards on the table into your pile. For the more daring, advanced rules add an extra touch of chaos, like stubborn donkeys that won't move and curious dogs that reverse the game's order. It's guaranteed fun for those who enjoy fast-paced games with a touch of dexterity and lots of laughter!
