Teotihuacan: City of Gods – Man vs Meeple Promo

You know that one small detail that can completely shift your scoring strategy? The Man vs Meeple promo for Teotihuacan: City of Gods does exactly that. If you're already immersed in building this ancestral city, you know that worker management and worship are core pillars of the experience. This small addition introduces a new Royal tile that tweaks the victory math.

The mechanic is straightforward yet powerful: when you choose to worship at this new location, the reward is proportional to your investment. You gain 2 victory points for every one of your workers currently locked into worship locations, including the worker you just used for the action. In short, the more workers you have dedicated to faith, the bigger the jump in your final score.

It's the kind of content that rewards long-term planning and knowing exactly when to sacrifice worker mobility for massive points. Originally released as an exclusive item, it later became part of the 2020 Promo Bundle, making it a must-have for collectors and expert gamers looking to squeeze every drop of efficiency out of the game's system. It doesn't overhaul the basic rules, but it adds a new layer of decision-making: is it worth locking down my workers now to explode in points later?

For those who enjoy heavy games (BGG weight 4/5), where every move counts and optimization is everything, this Royal tile is an interesting addition. It doesn't increase the game's complexity, but it provides a new scoring route that could be the difference between glory and oblivion in the City of the Gods.
