Preparation (Setup)

To set up the game with the Pleasure Garden expansion, the new hexagonal tiles must be shuffled and added to their corresponding piles. This means the new beige, black, and yellow tiles must be mixed with the existing tile piles of their respective colors.

Actions and How to Play

The Pleasure Garden expansion introduces new tiles that affect actions and scoring:

• Pleasure Garden (Building/Beige Tile): When a player places a Pleasure Garden tile on their board, they immediately perform a free action of their choice. For this action, the player must use the value of the white die. It is possible to use worker tokens to adjust the number of the white die, if desired.
• Technology Tile (Yellow): This tile does not grant an immediate action but has an effect on final scoring.

End of Game and Scoring

The Technology Tile (Yellow) affects end-game scoring. Whoever places this tile on their board receives, at the end of the game, 4 Victory Points (VP) for each Pleasure Garden they possess.

Tips for Winning

• When placing a Pleasure Garden, take advantage of the free action to maximize your turn. Remember that you can adjust the white die with worker tokens to optimize this action.
• If you manage to acquire a Technology Tile (Yellow), consider focusing on collecting Pleasure Gardens, as each one will be worth an additional 4 Victory Points at the end of the game.
