About the game
What you do in a play session
You know that feeling when you've just looted the most dangerous dungeon in the kingdom and walk out with pockets full of gold, gems, and relics? Well, the problem now isn't what you found, but how to make it back home with it all intact! In The Gods Laugh At Your Spoils, you take on the role of an adventurer who must traverse wild and treacherous lands to secure a luxurious retirement. The map features a hexagon grid, making exploration both tactile and strategic, but don't be fooled: fate won't make it easy for you. With dice rolling mechanics and 'push your luck' elements, you'll have to decide the exact moment to push forward or retreat before bad luck (or the gods' whims) leaves you empty-handed. It's a quick game, perfect for a 15-minute break, where every movement decision and every die roll can mean the difference between eternal wealth and returning home empty-handed. If you enjoy solo challenges, have a taste for medieval fantasy, and love the adrenaline of risking it all for a big prize, get your dice ready, because the gods are already laughing at your fate!
