Grab your explorer hat and get ready to enter the era of the 'Bone Wars'! In The Great Dinosaur Rush, you aren't just a scholar, but a fierce competitor in the race for paleontological glory. The setting is the peak of fossil discoveries, where the goal is clear: find the best bones in the most productive dig sites to assemble incredible dinosaurs for prestigious museums. But don't think this will be a peaceful expedition; competition here is real and can get quite dirty! To win, you'll need to build skeletons that impress in categories like size, height, and ferocity, but the path to the top is full of traps. The game is split into two main phases that keep the pace fast. During the dig phase, you rush to collect colored bones and perform strategic actions. This is where things get intense: you can choose the 'ethical' path or go for sabotage, stealing bones or hindering your rivals. If you opt for the dark side, you'll earn secret notoriety tokens. And here's the twist: notoriety is a double-edged sword! It can increase your final score, but if you are the most notorious player at the table, you'll lose precious points. It's a delicate balance between being a brilliant scientist and a ruthless competitor. You'll have to decide if it's worth risking your reputation to secure that perfect T-Rex skeleton. It's a fast-paced strategy game where collecting the right set of bones is essential to dominate the museums and secure your place in scientific history!
