About the game
What you do in a play session
The Dungeons of Cirith Gurat is the fifth adventure in the Haradrim cycle, featuring 60 cards that include a new Lore hero and three copies of each player card. The heroes of Middle‑Earth, far from home, traverse the hostile realm of Harad, confronting arid deserts, taming Mûmakil, escaping from orcs on wargs, and scaling tunnels infested with giant spiders. Along the way, they ambush a caravan of treasures destined for the Lord of the Rings and forge unexpected alliances. The story follows the group as they help Kahliel, the Haradrim leader, free his tribesmen imprisoned in the “Iron Pass” of Cirith Gurat. After liberating the companions, players face orcs and pursuers, relying on the new weapons, warriors, and events from the pack to overcome the challenges. The game preserves the cooperative essence of the LCG, requiring players to strategically manage their hands and use each character’s variable powers to create synergies. The gameplay experience is intense, with decisive combats and tense moments, yet it also offers opportunities for exploration and discovery of new stories within Tolkien’s universe. The Dungeons of Cirith Gurat stands out for its narrative depth and card variety, making it a valuable addition for those who master the LCG and seek new epic adventures in Harad.
