About the game
What you do in a play session
Ghost of Framsburg is the fourth adventure in the Ered Mithrin series for The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game. If you’ve faced Dagnir, the dragon that prowls Hrogar’s hills, you know that a simple attack isn’t enough – you need a real weapon. The story kicks off when the team realizes their attack cards can’t take down the beast. So they head to the ruins of Framsburg, a once-great city now abandoned for millennia. There, legend speaks of Wormsbane, Fram’s legendary sword, said to cut anything, even a dragon’s scaly hide. But Framsburg isn’t just a tomb of treasure: the place is steeped in danger, darkness, and secrets that can change the campaign’s course. The game blends intense cooperation – each player has a distinct role – with deck, bag, and pool building. In each phase, you decide which cards to put in your deck, what sacrifices to make, and how to use the pool’s resources to face Dagnir. The ultimate goal is to unite the team’s strength, wield the mystical sword, and, with luck and strategy, defeat the dragon before the city collapses. If you love rich narratives, decisions that shape the story, and a challenge that demands teamwork, this pack invites you into a fantasy adventure. The game lasts about 45–60 minutes and can be played by one or two players, making it great for family or friends who share a love for Tolkien.
