About the game
What you do in a play session
Get ready to spice up the intrigues of The Resistance even more with Hostile Intent! This expansion brings three modules that will make your games even more tense and full of twists. In the Hunter module, the hunt has gone personal: instead of sabotaging facilities, you now need to identify and eliminate a specific leader from the opposing team. Prepare for an unprecedented level of deduction and bluffing, where every glance and every vote counts to unmask the enemy or protect your allies. The Reverser module adds a layer of chaos and unpredictability. With it, a player can change the outcome of a mission, turning a certain victory into defeat or saving a mission that seemed doomed to fail. This ability can turn the game upside down and completely change your strategies. Finally, the Inquisitor module, inspired by Avalon, allows a player to investigate the affiliation of others. It's a powerful tool to uncover the truth (or at least your version of it) and add another layer of distrust and paranoia to the game. Hostile Intent is the perfect choice for those who already enjoy The Resistance and want more challenges, more bluffing, and more moments of pure social tension. With new cards and character tokens, this expansion ensures no game is the same, elevating the deduction and betrayal experience to a new level. It's perfect for groups who love intense social interaction games and aren't afraid of a little strategic chaos.
