Get ready to roll up your sleeves and build a city from scratch in 'The Walled City: Londonderry & Borderlands'! The premise is straightforward: you and your friends compete to become the first mayor by expanding the city and winning the loyalty of its citizens. While the game is easy to learn, the strategies offer plenty for those who enjoy deep thinking. In the first phase, you'll use cards to lay out roads, dividing the area into neighborhoods and populating them with your followers. The second phase intensifies: it's time to erect the walls and position strategic nobles in the watchtowers. But beware! Poorly planned roads can merge unwanted neighborhoods, and gaps in the walls might cause your nobles to flee. Victory comes through majority: whoever controls more neighborhoods secures more votes for the council and, perhaps, the mayoral sash. And the best part? The box contains TWO complete experiences! 'Londonderry' features the classic guilds, each with a unique power. Flip the board and explore 'Borderlands,' offering a brand-new map, new mechanics, and more guilds to mix and match. You can even swap guild cards between maps, creating endless combinations that will make you want to revisit this walled city again and again.
