Goal of the Game
In this expansion, players take on the role of witchers (including the new character Ciri) in a world full of dangers. The goal is to navigate the landscape, face challenges, and complete quests to accumulate points and survive the threats of the The Witcher world.
Setup
Setup depends on which expansions you are using. Follow the instructions below to integrate the Adventure Pack and the Lost Mount:
Adventure Pack
- Exploration Cards: Shuffle the Exploration Cards from the Adventure Pack expansion together with the main Exploration Deck.
- Event Cards: The Event Cards from the Adventure Pack expansion are numbered 57 to 138. They should not be shuffled; simply add them to the Event Deck.
- Quest Tokens: Place the Quest Tokens next to the Game Board.
Lost Mount
- Lost Mount: At the start of the game, after basic setup, the last player must draw 2 Location Tokens from any stack, choose one of them, and place the Lost Mount miniature on that location. Then, reshuffle the Location Tokens.
Character: Ciri
- Ciri can be used like any other witcher, but her presence does not allow for 6-player games.
- Specialty: Ciri starts in the School of the Wolf. Place the Ciri - Elder Blood Specialty Token next to the Wolf Specialty printed on the Game Board.
Gameplay Flow
The game follows the standard phase structure of the system, with the following modifications and additions:
The Lost Mount
The Lost Mount remains in a Location until a player enters it. Upon entering the location, the player must roll a die to determine the benefit:
- Result 1-3: No effect.
- Result 4-5: Draw 1 card.
- Result 6: Draw 2 cards.
After resolving the benefit, the player places the Lost Mount miniature next to the Game Board. After Turn Phase I, the player must reposition the miniature following the setup rules mentioned previously.
Solo Mode (Adventure Pack)
If playing in Solo Mode, ignore any Exploration card instructions that order you to take an Event Card and keep it in your hand without showing it to other players.

Tips for Winning
Based on the described components and abilities:
- Make use of Ciri's Specialty: Use the Elder Blood ability to manipulate the color of your Combo Extension during your Combat Turn, allowing you to optimize your attacks.
- Shield Management: If using Light Chainmail, keep an eye on your Shield Level; the ability is only useful when you are at 0 shield.
