About the game

What you do in a play session

Get ready to descend into the depths with *Thunderstone Advance: Caverns of Bane*! This thrilling expansion takes the deck-building adventure underground, following the defeat of the first three Thunderstone Bearers. Heroes now follow clues leading them to the abandoned Dwarven kingdom of Caligin, hidden beneath the fortress at Cheah Dell, promising even more sinister challenges and tempting rewards. Caverns of Bane is not for the faint of heart, bringing a horde of new enemies to test your courage and strategy. Face ravenous burrowing worms, horrifying bat monsters, and regenerating subterranean trolls, totaling six new monster groups that will demand a good deal of tactical prowess. One of the big novelties is that these monsters now carry treasure and, surprisingly, use it against you! But don't worry, upon defeating them, you can claim these treasures and use them in new ways when playing them from your hand, adding an extra layer of strategy to your hand management. Furthermore, three new Thunderstone Bearers lurk, ready to offer an epic final challenge. To bolster your deck, the expansion also introduces seven new heroes with unique abilities and 14 new village cards, ensuring you have the right tools to survive and thrive in the dark caverns. It's time to refine your deck and dive deep into this dangerous new journey!
