About the game

What you do in a play session

The Enforcer Expansion adds a new antagonist to Timelancers, turning the game into a 1‑vs‑many showdown. One player takes on the role of the Enforcer, tasked with stopping the Timelancers from tampering with history, while the rest continue pursuing their temporal objectives. The familiar modular board receives extra tiles that open new travel routes, increasing map variety each play. Open drafting remains the primary method for selecting abilities and resources, now featuring Enforcer‑specific cards that grant control and sabotage powers. Worker placement still dictates where each Timelancer can act, but the Enforcer gets exclusive spots to block or redirect opponents' actions. Set collection stays crucial for advancing the timeline, yet players must now balance gathering their own sets with preventing the Enforcer from completing his own victory set. The semi‑cooperative mechanic creates tension: Timelancers may loosely cooperate against the Enforcer while still competing for points. Playtime hovers around 90 minutes, suitable for 2‑5 players, and the expansion pushes the player count to five by introducing a 1‑vs‑many variant. New components include Enforcer miniatures, exclusive action cards, additional board tiles, and timeline markers. All of this preserves the high‑tech, time‑travel vibe of Timelancers while delivering a fresh strategic challenge for veterans of the base game.
