About the game
What you do in a play session
In Titus Tentacle, pirate adventure gets a goofy twist: a giant octopus guards the treasure island and loves to knock pirate ships off course. Each player commands two vessels that travel clockwise around the board. On your turn you roll the colored die; the color tells you which path to move to the next empty space of that hue. Rolling red lets you spin the octopus and give it a friendly whack on the head – hopefully sending its flailing arms onto opponents' ships, sending them back to start unless they’re tucked in one of the safe rocky spots. When a ship reaches Treasure Island, its captain grabs a gold coin and returns the ship to the start. The first player to collect three coins wins. Playtime is about 30‑45 minutes, for 2‑4 players, with a very low complexity level, making it perfect for kids and families who enjoy quick, laugh‑filled rounds. The components are bright and sturdy, featuring ship tokens, a central octopus figure, and a vivid colored die, all designed for easy rule‑learning and smooth gameplay.
