RECOMMENDED
Hey board game enthusiasts! Ready for a challenge that blends memory, deduction, and a dash of luck? In Trio, your goal is simple yet addictive: find three cards with the same number. The deck consists of 36 cards, with numbers 1 through 12 repeated three times. At the start, each player receives some cards to sort in their hand, from lowest to highest, and the remaining cards are placed face down on the table, like hidden treasure. On your turn, the adrenaline kicks in! You'll choose a single card to reveal. It can be the lowest or highest card from any player's hand (yes, even your own!), or any face-down card from the table. After revealing the first, you repeat the process. If the two cards you revealed are the same, congratulations! Your turn continues. But if they don't match, the cards return to where they came from, and your turn ends. The thrill of finding the third matching number is indescribable! If you manage to reveal three identical cards, they're yours, forming a set. The first player to collect three sets wins the game! But there's a twist that spices things up: if you get the set of 7s, victory is immediate! Or, in a spicier mode, if you form two sets whose numbers add up to or subtract to 7 (like a set of 4s and a set of 11s), victory is also yours instantly. Trio is the enhanced version of the classic Nana, with rules adjusted for 3 to 6 players, ensuring all cards are used regardless of player count. Plus, it offers team play modes for four or six people, perfect for groups! It's a quick, easy-to-learn game that will test your memory and detective instincts. Get ready for many 'Aha, I knew it!' and 'Almost there!' moments with your crew!
