If you already enjoy the chaotic race of Velonimo, the Legends expansion arrives to add an extra spice to the competition. The focus here is on the legendary figures of animal cycling: athletes who have made history and now return to the game as Sports Managers. They bring special abilities that can flip the game, but there's a catch: you receive one of these managers randomly at the start of the match and must decide the perfect moment to activate them. Just one detail: if you are wearing the Peas-and-Carrots Jersey, your Sports Manager stays on the sidelines. Once the power is used, the card is flipped face down and can only be reactivated by the player who finished last in the round.
Besides the managers, we have the arrival of the Broom Wagon. This component is the best friend of those falling behind. Whoever finishes the round in last place takes control of the wagon and gains a massive +5 attack bonus. It's the perfect chance to launch an unexpected strike against the leaders! Just be careful: the Broom Wagon cannot be played with a Baroudeur (Hare), so plan your strategy wisely. However, if you manage to combine the wagon with the Peas-and-Carrots Jersey, you hit an absurd attack value of +15, turning the misfortune of being last into a devastating advantage. The expansion also includes some promotional cards distributed at conventions and stores, further expanding the tactical possibilities. It's the ideal addition for those who want to add layers of strategy and plot twists without losing the agility and fun of the base game.

Do I need the base game to play?
Yes! This is an expansion, so you need the Velonimo base game to use these new components.
Does the game become much more complex?
No, the complexity remains low. The new rules are simple and don't slow down the game flow.
Is the Broom Wagon always advantageous?
Very much so! It gives a +5 bonus, but remember it cannot be used with the Hare.
How many players can enjoy the expansion?
The same as the base game, from 2 to 5 players.
What happens to the Sports Manager after use?
It is flipped face down and can only be reactivated if you finish the round in last place.
