About the game
Picture this: you and your friends are hunting for legendary treasures in ancient catacombs. Expectations were high, but fate played a trick and the floor simply gave way. Now, you're trapped at the bottom of a dark labyrinth, where the only certainty is that the treasure actually exists... and that you aren't alone. Something is lurking in the shadows, and the feeling of being watched is constant and disturbing.

In 'I Saw Something in the Shadows', tension is the engine of the game. You must work as a team to explore the environment, collect riches, and most importantly, find the exit before total darkness takes over. Torch management is vital: without light, danger increases and the group's coordination collapses. But here is the catch: does everyone actually want to leave? The traitor mechanic adds that delicious layer of suspicion, where every suggested path or mutual aid might actually be a trap.

With a modular board that changes every session, exploration always feels fresh. You'll use action points to move and versatile cards to survive, while rolling dice to determine the success of your attempts. The game balances the cooperation necessary for survival with the paranoia of knowing that someone might be playing against everyone. It's the kind of experience where proximity is safety, but trust is a dangerous luxury. Keep the torches burning, stay close, and please, do not wander off, or whatever is in the shadows will have an easy feast.
