About the game
What you do in a play session
Get your army ready, because peace is officially over! In Warriors, you aren't just a general; you are the leader of a chaotic coalition of creatures ready to turn the battlefield into a frenzy. Forget diplomacy—here, victory belongs to those who master their troops and strike at the perfect moment. Each player starts with a randomly dealt army of 11 units, ranging from barbarians and elves to trolls and undead. But don's think it's all luck; the real magic lies in how you play your hand.
The game unfolds over three intense rounds of warfare. You'll need to manage your mix of infantry, archers, and cavalry, all while looking for the perfect-timing attack cards. You can launch specialized battles—like elves taking out their natural enemies—or deploy mercenary armies for a multi-type-driven assault. If luck is on your side, you might even wield wizards to protect your troops or catapults to smash enemy lines!
Combat resolution uses a dice-rolling system inspired by Risk, but with a tactical twist provided by-your cards. You'll roll to attack, your opponent will roll to defend, and the outcome can shift the tide of the war in seconds. It's fast, it's aggressive, and it's packed with 'take-that'-style-interactivity. If you enjoy quick-fire-combat games where-you-never-know-what's-coming-next, Warriors is your next tabletop obsession. Grab your dice and choose your faction—the battlefield is waiting!
