Wingspan: Americas Expansion

The fourth Wingspan expansion transports the game to the heart of Latin America, introducing birds from Mexico, Central America, South America and the Caribbean. The region boasts over 3,000 species, including the tiny bee hummingbird and the massive snowy albatross, offering a wealth of strategic variety. The star of the set is the 40 new hummingbird cards, which add a special mechanic: playing one lets a player trigger swift, delicate effects that echo the insects' rapid flight, spicing up hand management. In addition, the expansion brings 111 fresh bird cards, 8 new goal cards and 5 double‑sided goal tiles, expanding scoring avenues. The Automa solo mode has also been updated for balanced solo play. All components feature artwork by Natalia Rojas, Ana Maria Martinez Jaramillo and Martha Clare, preserving the line's elegant aesthetic. You’ll need the base Wingspan game (or the standalone Wingspan Asia for 1‑2 players) to use the new material. The expansion doesn’t raise the learning curve – seasoned players will feel right at home, while newcomers still benefit from familiar hand‑management and open‑draft mechanics. In short, Wingspan: Americas enriches the ornithological universe with exotic species, new scoring goals and a dash of hummingbird speed, all without overcomplicating the experience.
