About the game
If you think you can stay calm while the clock is ticking, Wordsy is your new obsession! This game is a streamlined and fast-paced re-implementation of the classic Prolix, perfect for those seeking quick and frantic competition. The dynamic is simple: each round, everyone keeps a close eye on 8 consonants on the board. The first person to form a valid word flips the 30-second sand timer! From that moment, the game goes into turbo mode: all other players have exactly those 30 seconds to write down their own words. The key here is speed and wit, as you aren't limited to just the letters on the board; you can use any letter to boost your score, but watch out, because each letter's value depends on its column and rarity. The scoring system is quite clever: besides the letter points, you can earn bonuses if you're the fastest or if you come up with a better word than the round leader. After 7 rounds, we sum up your top 5 words plus any accumulated bonuses. It's the kind of game that gets your heart racing and your brain working at full speed. Great for vocabulary lovers who want something that doesn't take forever to finish but delivers a dose of adrenaline every single round.
