About the game
What you do in a play session
Prepare to dive into the World of Warcraft universe like never before! In this board game, you and your friends can take on the roles of iconic heroes, choosing from 16 distinct characters, each with their unique races and classes. Want to be a holy paladin, a powerful shaman, a cunning mage, or a stealthy rogue? Or perhaps you prefer the brute force of an orc, the wisdom of a tauren, or the resilience of a dwarf? The choice is yours!
The objective is simple, but the journey is epic: the Horde and Alliance factions must compete to be the first to defeat one of the fearsome Overlords, such as the lich Kel'Thuzad, the dragon Nefarian, or the demon Kazzak. If defeating the main villain isn't enough, the last faction standing in an all-out war claims the glory! To achieve this, you'll explore the vast continent of Lordaeron, face dangerous monsters, gain experience and power, and fight for your faction's glory.
World of Warcraft: The Boardgame combines tactical area movement, dice rolling to resolve combat and events, and smart hand management to use your abilities at the right moment. Each character possesses unique powers, adding an extra layer of strategy and fun. It's a team-based fantasy adventure that will test your cooperation and your ability to overcome monumental challenges. Get ready for hours of immersion and epic conflict!
