XenoShyft: Immolation is a short but potent expansion that fits neatly into the base games Xenoshft: Onslaught or Xenoshft: Dreadmire. It introduces a new set of enemies, the Cinderkin, which are fire creatures that advance in waves toward the NorTec base, creating a constant sense of urgency and danger. To keep up with this threat, the Fire Tracker appears—a marker that boosts enemy power and can endanger the base itself as the blaze spreads. Additionally, the expansion brings three Emergency Supply Item cards that differ from traditional equipment: each player starts with one of these cards, but they only work once, requiring resources to recharge for future use. The expansion’s components include 52 Wave 1 enemy cards, 52 Wave 2, 52 Wave 3, three supply cards, one Fire Tracker card, and a plastic fire counter. The gameplay preserves the cooperative and deck‑building core of the base game while adding a layer of tension and strategy by managing limited resources and protecting the base. For fans of the XenoShyft universe, Immolation offers a fresh way to test team resilience in extreme fire scenarios, while the new items and recharge mechanics bring variety to the existing card set.
