About the game
What you do in a play session
Zombicide (2nd Edition): Complete Upgrade Kit brings all the special content from the first edition – unique zombies, companions and survivors – fully adapted to the second edition. It includes 70 Survivor ID cards, 3 special Abomination cards, 6 regular Abomination cards, 11 Toxic Zombie cards, 11 Berserker Zombie cards, 36 Skinner Zombie cards, 12 Seeker Zombie cards, 12 Dogz cards, 12 Crowz cards, 12 V.I.P. cards, 6 Lost Zombivor cards and 14 Companion cards. Each card lets you introduce more powerful creatures or distinct abilities into scenarios, boosting variety and difficulty. The kit also provides all the spawn cards needed to convert first‑edition monsters to work with the new action‑point system and modular board. If you own the Kickstarter box, the V.I.P. cards can be doubled to pull Reboot zombies, adding extra chaos. Note that the kit does not include new Survivor ID cards, so you’ll still need the original ones to represent characters. Components are all paper‑based, high‑quality cards that fit neatly into existing boxes – no extra miniatures, but the impact on gameplay is huge: more enemy options, fresh tactical challenges and greater campaign customization. Perfect for 1‑6 players who already love Zombicide and want a broader threat pool without buying multiple small expansions. Playtime stays around 60‑90 minutes, depending on the mission. In short, this kit is a complete upgrade that revitalizes the core game, delivering more variety, replayability and that classic zombie‑apocalypse survival feel.
