About the game

What you do in a play session

Get ready to face the terrors lurking in the shadows with the 'Urban Legends Abominations' expansion pack for Zombicide! If you thought regular zombies were tough, now you'll have to deal with four legendary nightmares come to life. We have the Killer Clown, ready to turn your day into a macabre circus; the feared Chupacabra, leaving a trail of dehydrated victims; the Sewer Crocodile, a mutant aquatic predator; and the Abductor, who lives up to its name and drags you into the unknown. Each of these abominations comes with its own behavior card and unique abilities, making every encounter a desperate battle. The game maintains the cooperative essence we love in Zombicide, where you and your friends need to work as a team, use your skills, and roll plenty of dice to survive. The modular board ensures each game is different, and scenarios can be adapted to increase the challenge. This expansion adds an extra layer of dread and fun for those already fans of the series who want more monsters to hunt (or be hunted by!). Remember that, as it's an expansion, you'll need the base game to play, and perhaps a little extra time to translate the cards or use a reference, but the adrenaline rush is worth it!

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers before you buy

7 questions
Do I need the base Zombicide game to play this expansion?
Yes, absolutely! This is an expansion, so you need to own the Zombicide base game (any compatible edition) to use these new monsters and cards.
Which monsters come in this pack?
You'll find four fearsome abominations: the Killer Clown, the Chupacabra, the Sewer Crocodile, and the Abductor. Each with its own cards and challenges.
Does the game get harder with this expansion?
Definitely! The new abominations are more dangerous and have unique behaviors that will test your tactics and teamwork.
Do I need to translate the cards?
The Ludopedia mentions a moderate language dependency. We recommend having a translated reference or the cards in Portuguese to facilitate gameplay, especially for the specific behaviors of the new abominations.
How many players can participate?
Just like the base game, this expansion is for 1 to 6 players, maintaining the cooperative experience.
What is the estimated playtime?
The playtime is similar to the base Zombicide, generally around 60 minutes per game, depending on the scenario and the players' experience.
Does this expansion add new scenarios?
The pack focuses on bringing the four new abominations and their cards. While you can use them in existing scenarios to increase difficulty, it doesn't introduce ready-made scenarios on its own.
