About the game

What you do in a play session

Time to level up your Zombicide: Black Plague experience with the Special Guest Box – Paolo Parente! This expansion introduces four new survivors, all designed by the master Paolo Parente and hailing directly from his Anastyr fantasy universe. If you're already a fan of medieval Zombicide, you'll love these fresh hero options for tackling the undead. The survivor quartet includes Undraal, Queen of the North; Skoll, the Protector; Konrad, Master of Blades; and Arnwal, Maiden of War. Each brings their own unique skills and characteristics to add more variety and strategy to your zombie-hunting sessions. The Anastyr universe, from which these characters originate, provides an epic and dark backdrop. Imagine a time between the fall of Atlantis and the great Flood, where dense jungles and steaming swamps (which would one day become the Mediterranean Sea) are the stage for intense conflicts. Six great dragon tribes dominate this fertile region, each with their own mortal followers. In the North, humans worship the mighty Red Dragon slumbering in a volcano, while in the South, in the deepest parts of the Undermountain, Anastyr – the Queen of All Black Dragons – broods and plots. It's an era of legends, raw magic powers, and grand adventures, where the Dragons of Anastyr reign supreme! While this expansion doesn't introduce new zombies or missions, it's perfect for those seeking more character options with a unique artistic flair and a super interesting lore background to dive deeper into the Zombicide world. Get ready for more cooperative action and dice rolling with these powerful new allies!
