If you thought surviving the medieval zombie apocalypse was hard in Black Plague, buckle up, because things just got worse. In Zombicide: Green Horde, the threat is no longer just human; now you're facing zombie orcs and goblins. And let me tell you, these guys aren't messing around: they're tougher than your average zombie and have an annoying habit of gathering in massive hordes that ambush your group when you least expect it.
The game keeps the series' cooperative essence, allowing up to six survivors to join forces. You'll need strategy, some luck with the dice, and most importantly, the right gear. To tackle this 'green menace,' the game introduces new powerful weapons and spells—because who wouldn't want to use a Bone Kukri or trigger a Lava Burst in the middle of a crowd? And if the orcs get too clustered, the solution is simple: use the catapult! Yes, there's a catapult.
Beyond the new enemies, Green Horde expands the experience with ten challenging quests and new terrain elements, such as ledges and water holes, forcing the team to plan every move carefully. Sometimes, the best strategy isn't facing the horde head-on, but rather making a hasty retreat and finding an alternative route. With the Horde mechanic, where extra zombies stay 'on standby' waiting for the 'Enter the Horde!' card, the tension is constant. It's pure survival, where group coordination is the only thing keeping you from becoming putrid orc food. If you love detailed miniatures, tactical combat, and that 'we're surrounded!' feeling, this is the game for you.
