Grab your coat and your sword because Zombicide's medieval fantasy has just frozen over! In Zombicide: White Death, the action shifts to Wintergrad, a city shrouded in ice where survival is a constant struggle. Forget the warmth of the sun; here, the freezing cold is as deadly as the undead hordes infesting the streets. You and your friends control a group of survivors attempting to complete desperate missions while fighting slow but numerous zombies and terrifying bosses like Necromancers and Abominations.
The game introduces new mechanics that shift the combat dynamics. Verticality now matters: you can scale fortress walls to gain a tactical advantage, pour boiling tar on enemies below, or secure a superior line of sight to wipe out the horde. Additionally, new polearm weapons allow you to keep your distance, striking zombies without having to get too close. And when things get desperate, you can channel the icy elements of the environment to freeze enemies in their tracks, preventing them from taking any action.
But it's not all snowflakes and glory. The city is in ruins, and searching devastated buildings is risky and often yields little. The real danger comes from the Necromancers, who attempt to corrupt the city's lighthouse. If they manage to steal its power, all hope is lost, and the horde becomes even more unstoppable. Cooperation is the only way out: trade equipment, coordinate tactics with your partners, and try to rescue other survivors while protecting vital areas. It's the perfect mix of tactical combat, exploration, and that thrilling panic of seeing hundreds of miniatures marching toward you.

Is the game hard to learn?
If you've played other Zombicides, you'll feel right at home. For newcomers, the weight is moderate (2.4/5), so the rules are accessible, but the new verticality mechanics require some attention.
How many people can play?
From 1 to 6 players. It works great as a solo experience or with a full group for a night of chaos.
How long does a game last?
It depends on the mission! It can range from 30 minutes for a quick skirmish to 3 hours for more complex scenarios.
Do I need other games from the line to play?
No, White Death is standalone. You have everything you need in the box to start slaughtering zombies in Wintergrad.
What changes compared to previous Zombicides?
Besides the winter theme, we have wall climbing, boiling tar, new polearm weapons, and the lighthouse corruption mechanic.
