About the game
What you do in a play session
Nikki, the Alabama "Gator Wrangler," brings more than a catchy name to the Zombicide universe. Growing up on her parents’ alligator farm, she learned to handle the southern terror—skinning, tanning, breeding, and, of course, wrestling. When the undead hordes descended, Nikki released her alligators into the wild, revved up her motorcycle, and headed into the unknown, leaving behind a legacy of survival and raw power. As a promotional character from Season 3 of the Kickstarter, she appears in two versions: the original, armed with her wrestling moves and a trusty flaying knife, and the Zombivor variant, turning Nikki into an even deadlier zombie. Mechanically, Nikki fits neatly into Zombicide’s cooperative core, using action points to move, attack, and play ability cards. Her hand-management cards demand careful play, while dice rolls determine attack outcomes. Nikki’s presence adds a regional narrative flavor to the modular board, letting players craft unique scenarios each game. If you enjoy detailed miniatures, tactical action, and a story that blends the American South with a zombie apocalypse, Nikki is a supplement worth exploring. This expansion doesn’t replace the base game but expands the experience with new strategies and challenges, requiring extra miniatures and a bit more playtime—about 60 minutes per session, with 1 to 6 players.
