About the game
What you do in a play session
Patrick is the promotional survivor that appeared in Zombicide during the Season 3 Kickstarter campaign. He brings a stylish vibe – that hipster who lives in a gentrifying neighborhood with cafés on every block and a vibrant arts scene – then a set of miniatures that fit perfectly into his little space. The character is an optional expansion for the base game, so you need to already own Zombicide to use it. Patrick enters the game with a set of action points that let him move, attack, and use special abilities on each turn. He also receives a deck of cards that you manage in your hand, adding a layer of strategy in choosing when to use each action. Like all Zombicide characters, Patrick has variable powers that change depending on the situation, making each game unique. The expansion also includes a “Zombivor” version – Patrick turned into a zombie – that adds a touch of humor and variety for those who like testing zombie mechanics inside the game. The gameplay remains cooperative, with you and your fellow survivors battling hordes of zombies on a modular board that changes each session. In short, Patrick is a fun and light way to add a bit of variety to your Zombicide unfamiliar with the game, with new miniatures, cards, and abilities that fit well into the game’s established mechanics. If you’re already a fan of the series and want something new, Patrick will satisfy you, but remember that it isn’t a solo game and requires the base set to play.
