About the game
What you do in a play session
Hey there, board game enthusiasts! If you're a fan of Zooloretto and enjoy expanding your zoo adventures, this little addition is for you! The Familiarisation Area, a neat promo, steps in to offer a breathing room when life (or the game!) throws you an animal that no longer legally fits into your zoo.
You know those moments when you grab a delivery truck and, BAM!, there's no legal spot left in your zoo for that critter? No worries! With this extra area, you can temporarily house a single animal there. Think of it as a "thinking corner" for the animals. But pay attention, okay? This space is limited to one resident at a time. If the animal no longer serves your purpose or you want to rearrange things, you can use the "move" or "exchange" remodel actions to reorganize your animals, including those in this special area. The cool part is that, at the end of the game, animals left in the Familiarisation Area won't score you any points, positive or negative. Essentially, it's a safe haven to deal with those unexpected arrivals that don't quite fit the rules of your main zoo.
This promo is also part of the Zooloretto "Goodie-Box," so if you already own that, you might already have it! It's a simple yet effective way to add a bit more flexibility to the base game without overcomplicating things. Perfect for those who like having more options when managing their zoo and dealing with unexpected deliveries. A little extra help for animal collectors!
